Pre-schooling : PDAP has extended its support for the slum children through pre-schooling facilities. From 1992 to till now a total of 540 children (30 to 40 children in each year) were identified and given pre-schooling education for two months period viz November and December in each year. In this pre-schooling period each children were provided with primer (available in market) to identify alphabet and develop writing skill. So that they can get inspiration to attend govt. primary schools for continuing education. The mothers of these children were motivated to send their children in this pre-schooling centre regularly with slate and pencil (which was supplied by PDAP). PDAP with its limited resources has continued its effort. Besides, PDAP also continuing the basic education course for disadvantaged girls.
